YouTube channel growth goal
From your first subscribers to 1,000: publish on a schedule and watch whether the numbers follow.
The goal
Grow the channel to 1,000 subscribers
Due the end of the year; check in weekly. Numbers are examples - change them to yours.
| Metric | Target | Why this number |
|---|---|---|
Subscribers Each check-in is the new reading | 120 subscribers → 1,000 subscribers | The headline number; the forecast tells you whether this year's pace gets there. |
Videos published Each check-in adds an amount | 1 videos a week | The part you control. A weekly quota with a streak keeps the schedule honest. |
Watch hours Each check-in is the new reading | 150 hours → 4,000 hours | Watch time drives recommendations - and it's a monetization threshold. |
Average view duration Each check-in is the new reading | 30% → 45% | Better videos show up here before they show up in subscribers. |
GoalNexa forecasts each metric from its check-ins and gives the goal a health badge - on track, at risk or off track - long before the end of the year.
