Same ideas, different words

In PerdooIn GoalNexa
ObjectiveA goal - with sub-goals for the teams or people under it
Key resultA metric: start → target, in its unit (it may go down, like costs)
KPIA metric that's tracked only, or that has a target per day, week, month, quarter or year
StatusHealth (on track, at risk, off track, achieved), computed from the forecast
Progress updateA check-in: the new number and a note, dated when you say
TimeframeA cycle - goals join it, and closing it scores each goal 0-1
Strategic pillarNo separate strategy map - a top-level goal with sub-goals
InitiativeNo equivalent - keep tasks in your project tool

Know mid-quarter which key results won't make it

  • One chart per goal: each key result's progress over time and where its pace lands it by the target date.
  • A health badge per goal, from the numbers - nobody picks a color.
  • Reminders when a check-in is due, and a daily or weekly digest email.
Each goal's progress over time, with where it's heading by its date

A bill that doesn't grow with every hire

  • Only the organization's owner pays; members join free.
  • Everything - charts, forecasts, teams, the AI assistant connection - is in every plan; bigger plans give more room.

Updates where your team already is

  • Check in on the web or the Android app.
  • Or tell your AI assistant "we closed 14 deals this week" - it finds the key result and logs it.
  • Numbers from other systems come in through each metric's own check-in URL.

Yours to keep

  • Download all your data as JSON from your account page, any time.
  • The source is public (GitHub) - run it on your own server with Docker if you'd rather hold it yourself.

When GoalNexa isn't the right pick

  • You want strategy maps, 1:1s and performance reviews in the same tool as your OKRs - GoalNexa tracks goals and numbers only.
  • Your key results should update straight from Salesforce, HubSpot, Power BI or Jira without a script - Perdoo has those integrations built in.
  • Your security review asks for a SOC 2 report, or SSO and SCIM on a hosted plan.
  • Your team needs an iPhone app today - GoalNexa's phone app is Android only for now (the website works on any phone).

Moving from Perdoo

1

Export from Perdoo

Perdoo exports goals as CSV and each goal's progress history as CSV (Perdoo's help center: "Export data").

2

Create your organization

Sign up, name the organization and invite the team by link. Members join free.

3

Recreate your goals

Add goals and metrics in the app, or give the CSV to an AI assistant connected to GoalNexa and ask it to set them up - it shows you a draft first.

4

Bring the history (optional)

Check-ins can be dated in the past, so the progress history draws the same trend it did.

Questions

Is there a one-click import from Perdoo?
No. Add goals by hand, or connect an AI assistant (Claude, Codex, Cursor and others) to GoalNexa and give it Perdoo's CSV export - it creates the goals, key results and past check-ins after you confirm a draft.
Perdoo has an MCP server too. What's different?
Both let an AI assistant read and update goals. GoalNexa's is on every plan and comes with skills for planning, checking in and weekly reviews, and its replies use the same forecast as the dashboard.
Is GoalNexa priced per user?
No. Each plan has one flat price for a team, and members join free. See pricing.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet - the phone app is Android only. The website works on any phone, and so does checking in through an AI assistant's app.
Can we keep our data on our own servers?
Yes. The source code is public under the PolyForm Shield license; run it with Docker on your own server, and sign in with your company's OpenID Connect provider.
